I'm with you. I have fifteen (possibly 16) prompts I want to write, but I've only managed ONE so far. It's the lead up to Christmas, I tell you!

It's funny re fic writing, I'm usually at my most inspired when I'm at my wits' end with overwork. Sounds like you are a bit more sensible.

Yeah, I've been rather feeling unmotivated - maybe having the pressure of an actual deadline might be an impetus to get Stuff Done.

(Mind if I add you? Seems rather odd to do so on DWth and then not on LJ, but then DWth has the graduated access that LJ doesn't to the same extent.)

I go back and forth on whether or not deadlines actually help. Sometimes they do and sometimes it's just more pressure than I can handle and I spazz out. Usually not when I'm the one running it, though. :)
