Hornblower Alphabet Soup: William Bush Prompt Suggestions
Ok, we have hit critical mass of people willing to have a go at another Hornblower Alphabet Soup. For those still not familiar with the concept, the rules from last time are here, and the final product is here.
This round's character will be William Bush. (Poor Horatio, outvoted by his lieutenants twice in a row!) This post is for collecting suggestions for prompts. Prompts may be proper nouns related to Bush in canon (miniseries, movie, or book):
S - Sawyer, Spaniards, Sutherland, Sheerness
or they might be general nouns/nautical terms/concepts which somehow apply to Bush's experience:
S - surrender, sorrow, sailor, salute
Contribute as many prompts of whatever variety you like and I'll compile them at the end of the week! People had a preference over all for late March/early April, so I'm going to aim for submissions during Hornblower Appreciation Week at the beginning of April, final date TBD.
