(meme scandalously and shamelessly pinched from the classy iansmomesq )

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often or ever) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad -
BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little ( Read more... )

Do you remember when I took you to the millenium stadium and you were so taken with the rugby boys that you threw yourself on Vincent Clerc? And how we had to have you surgically removed? Such larks, Pip!

Indeed. I shall never be satisfied with mere football again!

I remember the time Lokei and I were driving through the Mohave, the part in Arizona. There was this absolutely torrential thunderstorm and we had to stop the car. It was the most amazing thing to see - the black clouds over the red of the desert and the sky lit by lightning. I was going to get out to take get a better look, but Lokei thought that would be a bad idea.
OOPS! Missed the bit about posting the response - I'd just woken up. I'll do that now!

Much better to be in a car in a lightning storm than not. We science museum types are big on lightning safety, even if it's not very poetic. *grin*

Ok - it's just the meme posted now. Still, I liked the idea of all those fake memories being posted. : )

My favorite memory is that time we curled up on the couch together with hot cocoa in our hands. You insisted on making it yourself, when all I wanted was instant chocolatey gratification -- but you were right. Taking the time to make it yourself gave me time to calm down and tell you what happened. It all came out in such a flood, I'm pretty sure I tripped and skipped over whole words and sentences, but at the end of the day, the only thing that mattered was that it felt like I was home with you, on that couch, with your hot cocoa, and your arm around me, soothing my poor little broken heart.

The next morning was a huge blur, and I'm not even sure I woke up at all when you went off to work, but it was the sweetest thing when I found your note on the fridge at quarter to noon. "I'll be home later tonight, feel free to make me a banquet to welcome me home. My teddy bear is on the couch, she'll comfort you while I'm gone."

You are welcome to my chocolate, my teddy bear, and my couch any time, dearheart. *hugs*

There was that time we crashed that Jewish couple's wedding and everyone kept calling you Aunt Millie. And then I had six cups of punch before I realized it was spiked, and you had to spend the rest of the night explaining to me why going on a gay cruise was not a good way to pick up guys.

Hey, do you still get Christmas cards from the Levinsons? Cause someone named Chayim keeps calling me. I've changed my number twice and it's getting a little creepy.

Remember that time you and I went to Tatooine and stalked Obi-Wan from afar, but failed miserably because...well, you can't exactly hide from a clairvoyant Jedi Knight now can you?

Nice of him to invite us crazy stalkers over for tea afterwards, though. :P

(Fictional enough for ya? :P)

I particularly enjoyed the lecture on how to dress or not dress in the desert to avoid sand getting everywhere...
