sg-1 seasons 4-6ish and Flashpoint

I've been borrowing Stargate SG-1 from the library, and have finally finished season 4, 5, and most of 6. Watching the last disk of season 6 as I type. I have some thoughts.

Ah, so you weren't the only one irked by the Tumblr gifs that were heavy on JAM, or the tumblr posts that were nothing but rants about lack of JAM. I actually blocked two individuals because of their ridiculous posts. Just gets to be too much after a while ( ... )

I was surprised by Donna dying. And I wasn't convinced Greg was going to make it, with it being the last episode. Although I guess if I had been thinking I would have remembered his outfit from pictures on EC's last day of shooting and realized that scene hadn't happened yet.

I liked the suspense, but all the "fake outs" annoyed me by the end. Is Sam dead? Is that Greg's locker Ed's standing in front of? Why was the speech so hard, was it Greg's memorial? Oh, wait, no, there's Greg! Annoyed, by the last one, for sure.

I do agree that it was wrapped up really well.

I didn't think the fake-outs were too exorbitant. I think both parts 1 and 2 needed to have their own moments of peril, and placing Sam in jeopardy made the most sense, dramatically ( ... )

I keep meaning to post my thoughts on the finale, but I haven't had a chance yet. But good feedback; you said a lot of what I was thinking.
