Need Flashpoint fic help

I should be working on my fic that's probably 75% done, but today, since I woke up this afternoon (I work 3rds, I'm not lazy, fyi ;), I've been thinking about another one.

I need an idea for a bet between Ed and Wordy, like, early into their SRU careers. It could involve a rookie Spike. I'm so stuck on this part of the fic I can't even move on. ( Read more... )

So did you think of a bet for your story or-? This is what I really like about working at a store (I work parttime at a supermarket), I've been doing it for so long that a lot of the time I can just work on auto-pilot, which means I can spend a lot of my time at work thinking about fanfic and stuff. Not that I'm very good with story ideas, mind you, but it's still fun ;o)

Still thinking of a bet... I've been busy at work and sick with a horrible head cold, and my parents were in town for a few days, so fic has been on the back burner. =( Well, sad face for the cold, anyway. It was nice to see my Dad.

Yeah, I hear you about fic being on the back burner. Have had very little time to work on my own fic, and it's frustrating! I wanna immerse myself in the FP world, but I just don't have the time *grumbles*

A bet...maybe...maybe one that has something to do with Wordy putting tear gas in Spike's gear? (because you said it could involve a rookie Spike, right?) Feel free to ignore this, but just in case you're getting desperate ;o)

How long it takes Lew to run screaming from the incessant chatter? How long it takes Spike to defuse a bomb (with one of them having known him or someone who worked with him before)?

Off to work on my own rookie fic :)

oooh... you're right, Spike joined after Lew, so that does help me a bit... hmmmmm....
