Well...have you ever had to control 25 kids on chairs? lol.
Most of mine are okay on chairs... but I have one kid who swings constantly. And goes flying. So I've taken away his chair. No chair. Tough luck.

No, I cannot say I have :-D

I myself was a very figety child but I don't think I would've stood a chance with a stability ball. I mean, I doubt I would've paid much attention if I was sitting on a cool stability ball! IDK, I guess it works for some kids. Sometimes the little distraction something provides is worth it for the good it provides. I.e., If I'm working on something really boring in the afternoon I'll start to fall asleep but if I turn the radio on the music will distract me a little but at least I'll be awake! Anyway...I digress...

So, do you think these would work for your class? I can't quite remember what grade/ages you teach...

Year 3... which is 2nd Grade. And um, no, no it wouldn't work for my kids. It's a terrible idea. lol. I just think sometimes chairs don't work either. Which is why one of mine is chairless currently. :D
I do the music thing with them sometimes... if they're able to work quietly, it's good... coz I can say 'if you can't hear the music, you're too loud an d you need to bring the volume down'...
