The European Commission has added pentobarbital and sodium thiopental, among others, to its list of drugs whose export to the US is strictly controlled because they may be used for "capital punishment, torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment". Eeew, new comment design page.. Like my design as it keeps it away as much as possible.

Anyways... On topic... If the US wants to continue to do this, then their companies over there will ahve to make the stuff and get their hands bloody.

Even if it's a bad image for said company, you can do that or don't have death penalty on the states that do it this way.

That was in the news here recently, didn't catch much attention. (US-)Americans really can't make up their minds. First they complain because we start two world wars and murder millions of people with poison, now they complain because we don't want to fight wars and don't want to supply poison for the murder of people.

Seriously, about time this happened. But better late than never.
