Love this, and yes I do need a sequel. I like how Logan thinks of himself as an animal yet it's his uncertainty in himself that makes him utterly human :)

I don't think he ever considered that. Maybe I should make Marie tell him that. What do you think?

Yes, that would be an interesting conversation for sure. I doubt he ever really considered that animals (as far as we know) do not question themselves or their instincts, and that despite what he ultimately does - it's the fact that he even thinks about were his motivation comes from that makes him human.

Oh, so much better than the first draft. Everything makes perfect sense now ... Logan is acting like Logan, and Marie has something going on in her head. I really enjoyed that!

Thanks! Marie's going on a different direction than I wanted her to go (your direction), but I'm not going to fight it. At least I'm writing again. That's something, right?

Yay! I was so happy to see a new L/M story from you! I like PWP, but I much prefer it when fics also have a relationship or emotional element to them, as this one does. Logan and Marie's relationship is different here from some of your other fics; as you write here, "she never flirted with him or followed him around." It's interesting to see this different dynamic, and although I love their relationships in your longer fics, this is a fun change.

I can't wait to see what happens next! Poor Logan! The way Marie treated him and what happened between them was really harsh, and then she just left! *lol* But the sex was very hot, and of course, more than just sex. I just hope Marie can admit that to herself and to Logan in part 2!

Thanks! Yes, they are different, aren't they? It was the challenge, to write something I hadn't before. I prefer my 'regular' dynamic between them, though. This is is giving me a headache. I have to think too much why they are behaving the way they do. With my 'normal' L&M, at least I know what's going on insides their heads. *lol*

I'm really happy everyone says 'poor Logan'. That's what I'd been aiming for, even though he's an asshole halfway this fic. Now, I have to find a way to make up to the both of them... *grimaces*

Oh this made me so happy - you know despite the angsty ending. yes, it was angsty, it had me refreshing the page, and stuff looking for the rest of it. Bless your cotton socks for writing this! It was beautiful and emotional! So much depth and stuff(just finished a 3000 word essay, i can't sound clever right now) Just no that reading this has made me so happy!

So nice to wander back here and see fic from you :) and it's great, as always. Hot but I liked the light and shade and how Marie kept saying things that threw him, it kept me guessing :) For PWP I could feel a lot of relationship subtext - I loved this line:

"Those lips just have to be kissed. He'd take five hours of coma if he could show her what he can’t seem to say with words"

Sigh...I will never outgrow these two <3 OTP
