The fact that this particular LJ entry is locked is quite understandable. The need to release your thoughts, write them down and let them go can be very therapeutic...
I like how human she is here, not at all points heroic and saving the day, or even on the edge of being so. You explore the essence of a grieving period, and the right to do so. At least that's what I pick up. I like an entire dimension of a person, when we don't expect or pretend that they are always happy, always beautiful, but that the flaws are there and the human is the divine.
To me if Storm didn't have the part of her that was clearly human, the goddess part of her would be much more boring.
I like that you've projected that for us and you do it beautifully.
