I probably should've explained myself a little better - although not quite sure that I can and have it make sense. When I read other stories that featured Remy as Marie's husband or boyfriend, I really never cared what happened to him because I didn't like the character. And of course, I disliked him on principal for keeping Marie and Logan apart. This is actually the first story I've read that includes LeBeau since seeing "Origins: Wolverine" and viewing the character as played by Taylor, there's a certain empathy for what he's going through. But I know I'm supposed to dislike him and want him out of Marie's life.
