Ouch. self esteem say hi to ground. Of late, I've been wondering about stuff. How much stuff will make me happy..I wish I could say it does not make me happy at all. Fact is, a new pair of shoes gives me enough juice to smile widely.

Depends how you lose them though. Did you lose someone in a bad way? I'm really sorry. I don't like seeing things end and I know how much it hurts.
