I don't know anyone there but I'll ask around for a contact maybe. I find that warm leads are a 1000% times better than cold ones.

You know, I've been tempted to pause this blog for a bit and finish up my manuscript. It's one of those things I really must do...

not sure if it was just a consequence of hurried typing or whatever, but i think the proper turn of phrase is 'bated breath'. just fyi.

anyways, i for one will be sad to see the technorati series go. i've started unconsciously thinking about and trying to follow some of what you said there.

will the already-written articles stay up after you call it quits or be available somewhere else?

Shoot, you're right. Changing it now - thanks for the heads-up; goodness, I hate when things like that happen.

I'm not sure if they'll keep it up or take them down. I'm trying to think of other places I can publish but perhaps later on as work has really ramped up lately.

An online dating site could be interested in branching out from their online-user matching, and spreading their appeal.

Maybe not paysites like eHarmony or Match.com, but there is OkCupid (http://www.okcupid.com/) which already has OkTrends (http://blog.okcupid.com/), an amazingly interesting column with online dating statistics.

This one is surprisingly informative:

That's a good point; I should really drop a line to one of them at some point.

I've read a lot of those OK Cupid articles, they're really interesting; my brother actually sent me a bunch including that one. Fascinating how people interact with each other.

Speaking of which, I'm just curious how you found me - let me know?

Thanks for the comment, man!

Years ago, I think the connection went like this:

Veanne lived in the bay area (http://veanne.com/ I don't remember how I found her blog), and I found out about Rain (http://www.hipstomp.com/), and saw 72nd to Canal, which leads me to you.

Veanne and I both worked in the film/tv biz here in Northern California, although I've never met any of you.

72nd to Canal, still, one of my favorite things I've discovered online.
