Thanks Abbie - I think it's sad because so many people didn't see it coming. They all lost a good soul.

Man, she was only 40 minutes away from where I am now.

I'm sorry about the loss. I know what you mean by saying not a friend but you saw her almost every day though. Well what I mean to say is I know how you feel when you say that you haven't seen her in a long time but knowing you never will again means something, because I've been there too. So in that sense I empathize on a deeper level, and from what I can see and read she seemed like she had a lot to be happy about so I'm thankful for that as well.

She did have a full life, however short it was. And she seems to have married a good fella. Poor guy, it must be pure hell. Can't even imagine it.

Thanks for this comment - I like that people are thinking of her. She deserves some reflection.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's upsetting when someone that young dies. I'm sure she's happy that you remember her well.

It's way too young, I think. I hope she's happy, wherever she is.

Thanks.

oh Logan...

She looks like such a fun spirit. I mourn for her family and friend's loss.

Yeah, how does a family deal with such a thing. I cannot imagine.

Don't wanna...

Hi Logan,

This pic of Leigh and her doggy looks like it was taken at Bernal Heights park, but I could be wrong. Thanks for posting about Leigh. You seem like a good-looking guy with a strong mind, a big heart, and the coolest name ever. But why did your parents name you after a really crappy airport? I'm glad that you and Leigh spoke together daily for two years. I worked (and sometimes partied with her) for four years, eons ago, in San Francisco. She was a smart young puppy and I was an old and bitter queen. But we just clicked. I too, regret not staying in touch. She would (or perhaps, is?) be cracking up to know that I am telling a random male stranger who she knows in a different context that he's good-looking and that you are the recipient of this message. Be well and don't forget that life is too short to not moisturize.

Wow, what a small, small world. She was great and I'd not spoken to her in almost a decade - crazy how fast time goes by. I thought of her fondly and sadly when I read about what happened. She was so young, I always thought.

Guess that's what made it especially sad.

Thanx for the compliment and the tip - I will assuredly start to moisturize!
