Never liked him anyway. So won't mourn him ;)
His leaving the national team probably means better chances for Kevin to actually play (once Löw (hopefully) gets back to playing with "real" full-backs) and for Schweinsteiger to not only be the leader and captain of the team but to also wear the band to signify this. It's good.

I'm only wondering whether he'd also have left if they hadn't won that damn title???
