I had a similar reaction.

What pisses me off most of all is that the Daily Mail is the only paper to call him out on his bullshit. Even the Guardian posted a sanitized version of his remarks.

I am past outraged. I have moved on to pity.

Fuck of Fabio. You're gone next year anyway.

If the EPL encouraged new English players rather than just buying players from abroad maybe we wouldn't have this problem but nooooooo. We must include players like Owen in our squad who played when I was bloody ten! Sit the fuck down and accept the English NT is abysmal. Let David coach them, he'd do a much better job.

I apologise, he just riles me up so much.

That.

I like England, don't get me wrong but why do y'all continually stick to Terry-Lampard-Gerrard? They're still good but if the new boys don't get a foot in they will be overwhelemed.

And then the blame will be thrown to Joe Hart when they fail and he will be eaten alive. :/

Becauase, honestly, we're scared it won't work without them and we're not good enough to experiment against 'bad' teams like the Germans do. They've been playing there for almost 8 years -.- Is it really any wonder I like watching Germany more?

We always blame the keepers. 'Calamity James' for example. Or the still ever present 'Rob Butterfingers Green'.

I know there would have to be a lot of rebuilding from the ground up and lord knows I have issues with EPL and how the stars are more non-English than not but I do think you're still light years ahead of the US in terms of talent.

I don't necessarily agree with throwing older players to the wolves either (Miro is never going to NOT play do you hear me?!!) but there has to be some way to find a good mix. The three + Rooney are the only big name English players I can think of right now that currently play NT and yet, relying on them alone isn't getting anyone anywhere.

So Ozil should not play for the country where he was born, lived the first 22 years of his life, went to school and learnt to play football, but he should play for the country where his grandparents were born. Where is the logic in that?

If you follow his thought, Barca can very well stop being proud of 'their' youth product Messi. They have stolen him from Rosario if you look at it that way.

Dear England:

JUST FIRE HIM ALREADY.

Cut your losses, use him as your new scapegoat, etc. etc.
