dogs in Ukraine are killed not becouse Euro2012. All of this - part of the political campaign against Ukraine as host Euro 2012. IMHO.

Really? Well, then maybe it IS good that the Ukraine hosts the Euro 2012 because finally people get aware of the cruel treatment of animals in that country.

That's possible. I can understand that if you don't do anything about stray dogs, they become a real problem. But obviously dealing with them could be done in a less cruel way.

I wrote an email to the DFB and got a standard-answer back (the same many others got, too). They said they had contacted the UEFA about it and that I must please understand that they can't say more concerning that matter. Doesn't sound to me as if they're really interested in changing anything, more like: we did our duty, now it's up to the UEFA. They could have easily done something during the last match in Kiev :(
