Sometimes I wonder if Ballack has cursed all defensive midfielders vv.
To be serious: I feel very sorry for Rolfes because he just came back to the team. When it comes to Sami I'm sort of glad because, like Jogi said, they shouldn't risk anything and he already gave everything to play against Austria.

And our average just drops another 2 years, Azerbeidjan will think they have to play the juniors. But well, now Jogi has to experiment. If we win, we just need one point in the last three matches to be sure of first place in the group.

Oh man, what's the news about Sami? I couldn't watch the Austria game--did he get injured again playing or are they just being cautious? But congrats new BBs!

According to dfb: Jogi said that his injury was alright, that sami did everything to play against Austria and that the just don't want to take risks.
Jogi mentioned last week that they also talked to Real Madrid and promised to not risk him, so I think that that has something to do with it too.

Ahh thanks! I have to admit I was a little worried that his first match after being out for so long was a Euro qualifier. I'm glad they're being cautious!
