So this weekend countouttheday and her boy came out to California, because he's gotten into a top grad program out here and they are probably going to be moving from New York to here in the fall. She sent me an email on Wednesday night about this fact and maybe making plans for Saturday. I was thrilled. Jeremy, unfortunately had agreed to close Saturday night

Thanks. I thought of it about a week ago, but didn't get around to posting about it until now. I feel like it's a pretty convincing argument.

I was also originally wondering if the four knew who the fifth is, but I feel like Anders proved that they didn't in this episode.

More even than Kara's response to it, the fact that Anders wants Kara to be a cylon so that she will belong with him (not Lee).
That was adorable and hilarious.

Hilarious and sad. Anders is sort of sad to watch sometimes, because he is just so lacking.

If she's long and black she must be Rue's long lost cat twin! In which case I suggest Odile, the black swan to rule them all. (I would suggest Kraehe, who in Princess Tutu is the real Rue's Odilesque alter ego, but you haven't seen it yet.)

Interestingly enough, I did actually come up with calling her Odile yesterday during lunch, Jeremy made a face though.

His current suggestion is Sophie... which is cute but does not mean anything. And I want her name to mean something. This is why Cupcake went unnamed all those years!

So I swore off BSG around a year ago, feeling disenchanted with so much of where the plot was going (...Baltar, etc.) and how the characters were developing (...read Leemo, plus practically everybody but Roslin). And yet somehow I just had to watch the new episode, and man, was I sucked right back in.

But now I'm all a-twitter over the Roslin staying with Adama thing and the great showdown-to-be.

Who knew???

They know just how far they can throw us before roping us back in with these things... the bastards.

I probably wouldn't have watched this season (or the last) if it hadn't been for social reasons (primarily that Jeremy does). But now I am all excited about next week.

Also it comes with awesome icons.

It was so much fun hanging out with you! And, yeah, it looks like he's telling them he's accepting their offer tomorrow, so eek! We'll be joining you in the Bay Area in a few months. Can't wait to see you and Jeremy again. (Matt, too, he really liked both of you.)
