I truly am a moron. I could have taken my sleeping pill tonight to kick start my body into understanding the whole *SLEEP WHEN IN BED* thing.... I didn't. And here I sit. Awake ( Read more... )

i can totally understand the 'my brain is full, can i be excused?'
just rememebr that sleep habits are hard to change. at most half an hour per week is considered a normal rate of adjusting sleep that has gone off cycle. anything more than that is hard to accomplish (and usually not successful). if you want a harder core theory of adjusting a sleep cycle gone off kilter- stay awake past the time when you want to be sleeping (so in essence- stay awake for 36+hours) and then fall sleep at the desired sleep start. i have done both, and the former has more long term success, but lack of consistant work schedule has always meant it was for naught.

hugs and hope you got some sleep. it helps to get a solid chunk of sleep. consistant sleep would rock *wry grin*
