...and i have just finished Jennifer Lehr's book (haha totally had to take the paper cover off of the hardcover edition dust jacket* to read it without attracting attention in public)-- and just wanted to share 2 of my favourite scandalously honest(ly) awesome lady memoirs. oh jewish artists who have no qualms

I saw a guy reading a book with a brown paper cover on it a little while ago on the train; upon closer over-the-shoulder inspection, I saw that it was the final Harry Potter book. SHOCK AND SCANDAL!

i feel the same way, being more inspired by things non-identical to myself than by things i'm already in perfect agreement with (then what do i have to learn from them?)... "did i also mention i'm a dirty voyeur?"... did i mention i <3 you? :)

Funny, I've been on a memoir kick myself. Mostly women who lead much more exciting lives than I do, as a swat to the mental behind.

Also, this is dameelysia. I've jumped ship, turned over a new leaf, and all those other lovely cliches.
