[ Wearing his swim trunks and coming in from the back yard, he heads towards the kitchen to get himself a snack. It's hot enough that he's thinking of ice cream, but he isn't sure there's any left. Opening the freezer, he peaks inside. ]

[ As soon as he hears his phone ring, he sets down the tub of ice cream (mint chocolate chip) he'd been digging into and slips his hand into his pocket to pull his phone out. ]

...Hello, Rolo.

[a quiet, brief moment of hesitation, then:]

Come out to the driveway?

[ Blinks, looking down at his phone with a bit of a frown, then giving a brief affirmative. He flips the phone close, hesitates, then heads out to the driveway with a hand raised in greeting. ]
