[You can have some just-on-time-how-very-convenientlouch walking through the front door right about now, giving the standard call to signify his arrival, and shrugging out of his coat. Piqued by the smell of something cooking, he makes a detour from his usual route and peers into the kitchen.]

I thought you'd made a habit of ditching Home Economics.

[Turns to see his brother, a ladle in hand as he quirks a brow.]

Just because I skip Home Ec doesn't mean I don't know the course, nii-sama. If I didn't know how to cook, how would I make your bentos?

[There are several ways to answer that, but he hardly gives the question any consideration before making his way to the breakfast nook where he can set down his things.]

[Openly scowls, returning to the pan where he's sauteing chicken.]

[Half a week later, he's hanging out in his usual hide away behind the school, pulling a drag off a cigarette between classes. Of course, after staying the weekend with Euphemia, he couldn't bring himself to be any more of a burden and found an apartment building near the school where he could sleep on the roof and stay warm enough. It was much like his life before meeting Lelouch and it showed in his features. Rumors were starting due to his clothes not being as clean as they usually were and the dark circles under his eyes. But he ignored them and continued to do what he did every day at school. His grades never dropped, his participation never wavered, but he pointedly avoided Nunnally and the Principal's office

He brings the cigarette to his lips again, watching his "brother" blandly. Briefly, he's reminded of that first time. When Lelouch had forced him against the wall and-- he stays the thought. This time, he decides, he'll make the first move.]

Principal Lamperouge. What will my punishment be?
