Everything is sort of in demand and short in quantity. A faint little smile touches his lips on seeing the gift: a chess set of his own. The lyrics make him feel slightly guilty, but... [Is setting the table and taking care of the boring but necessary things. Her present for Lelouch is stashed somewhere because it's not exactly the easiest thing to hide. And she's hoping the centerpiece- a ring of cranes to surround the cake- will take attention off whatever she's doing long enough for her to go retrieve it.]
