If you had to chose between dying to protect someone that hates you and living for someone you can't love, which would you pick?

I know which one I picked. I can't go back.

I wonder if he'll remember.

I think that depends on what you want to achieve at the end.

Well, technically in both cases you're not doing what the other person wants. You might change their mind if you die for them but, you might make them worse. Just like you might do the same by living for someone who you can't love, you're hurting yourself and that might hurt them.

One is more likely to change an opinion than another. Sort of.

Why?

Death is death, no matter how you look at it. You'd upset the person you can't love, and you'd make the person who hates you more reason to continue hating you because you died.

Then, there's always some unknown third option in this.
