Peter was going to order the next person to ask him aren't you supposed to be on vacation? to be slapped in chains and marched to the dungeon. No, he didn't care that they had no dungeon; he was going to order this person to dig the dungeon before chaining him up and locking him in there

Envy hadn't really been taking time off since she'd met Gideon, either. She didn't quite have the hang of it, yet. Even if it was only showing in the way her face was fully made-up when she came to the door even though she hadn't left the apartment at all today.

At least her outfit was slightly more at the casual end of high fashion? She was re-learning the ropes of not being on all the time.

"Coffee?"

"Coffee," Peter said. "You're lucky some aide didn't just snatch it out of my hands on the way up."

He held up one of the cups.

"They'd dare?" Envy asked, taking the coffee before stepping out of the way. "Just what kind of an operation have you been running since I moved out?"

"An operation where I allow my staff to take care of the day-to-day while I deal with convincing dozens of nations to join the FPE," Peter said, striding into the room. "My Chief of Staff doesn't intimidate any of them like you did."
