It was from last week. She'd tried to write one now but didn't know what to say. She didn't really know what to say to anyone, at this point.
So now she was out and about, too. She'd walked to the new diplomatic complex, for no other reason than to give herself a moment to think while in motion, and now she was walking back. (Heels and legs for days. This wasn't home. So she wasn't dressing for hanging out at home.)

Goddammit. That was definitely one conversation she'd wanted to delay as long as possible. Didn't look like that was going to be an option for very much longer.
And that was about when their trajectories met. She looked up, noticed Peter, rolled her eyes. Muttered, "Ugh."
