- Ugh, spring. This is the worst time of year for my allergies. I can't stop sneezing. You'd think staying indoors would help, but nope. Time to crack open a box of antihistamines.

I still haven't done a full-length Fourth Doctor scarf. I guess I don't have the patience. My brother asked for a scarf a few years ago but said it didn't have to be as long as the real thing, so I worked on it up until Christmas that year and gave him what I had--11 feet long?

The part of knitting I like best is finishing something! I'm sure your friend will love the scarf.

The scarf I knit for myself last year was only 11 feet long. That's the nice thing about Four's scarf. It varied in length during his tenure so you don't necessarily have to knit the full 12 feet (or the full 23 feet as is the case with the season 16/17 scarf).

But yes, the sense of accomplishment when you finish something is great. You can proudly say "I made this!"
