Well, that's another TV season done for the year

TV shows are done for the season for the most part. Some thoughts:

Yeah, if Eddie killing himself removes Eobard, then the whole timeline needs to erase. If an alternate universe protects them, then it should protet him as well.

My guess is that this paradox is what caused the singularity, and that Flash will protect the timeline with the powers of Speed.

Or maybe Flash will find his way into Eobard-less timeline and be the only one who remembers the whole season, and they'll start from scratch, and that's why the timelines between Arrow and Flash don't quite line up, because they weren't quite in the same universe just a very close one. :)

I don't expect too much sense from a time travel plot. Perhaps the writers thought the black hole would distract everyone. They did move on pretty quick from that moment.

Or maybe Flash will find his way into Eobard-less timeline and be the only one who remembers the whole season, and they'll start from scratch, and that's why the timelines between Arrow and Flash don't quite line up, because they weren't quite in the same universe just a very close one.

And maybe that's how Ollie is able to be the Arrow. A retcon like that would help to clear up a few things.
