Firefly lives!

Feb 01, 2014 10:36

- Anyone reading the new Serenity comic? The first issue was out this week. With Buffy and Angel living on in the comics, it seemed only natural that Firefly would join them, too. Seeing as we won't get another movie, likely ever, this is the next best thing.

Just some initial thoughts:

Spoilers for Serenity: Leaves on the Wind #1 )

comics, vacation, firefly

Are the new Firefly comics in the same continuity as the previous ones?

Ooh, that sounds like a cool vacation!

Yup, the comics follow the same continuity. Apparently only two other comics have been set post-Serenity, so this series is the first major addition to the universe. Hopefully it's the first of many. :-)

The Caribbean was a nice change of pace. A lot history there for such small islands.

If it's only six issues, then I guess I'll wait for the graphic novel.

What Patton Oswald short? Because it had been my headcanon since the film came out, but the comic was the first time I'd seen it made actual canon.

Buying the graphic novel would definitely save you money. Being the sucker that I am, I buy every issue. It's Joss, though, so I know the money is well spent.

It came out in 2010. Sorry that wikia article doesn't offer more. I could have sworn I read somewhere that it was canon. But it's at the end of "Float-Out" that we see Zoe pregnant for the first time.
