Ahhh...Okay and wow!! Japan...loving this. He has truly been all over. And his long absence could very much be explained by a long voyage and maybe a mishap on the way?

Do love Kasumi. Bold Kasumi. Her father must be a doting one indeed!! I assume Yamada is the beaming eldest here? He does seem to indulge and enjoy her directness.

I still surmise this whole tale is like one long delicious episode. Just...gorgeous.

Will happily be waiting for more!

I do believe that this section is the longest; it's not called "The Long Way Round" for nothing. :-) I mean, Rory could have had plenty of adventures if he had stayed in England, but this is definitely more exciting.
