It was the serial "Marco Polo" that inspired this whole fic, so much of the journey is the same, but obviously with Rory and the Pandorica thrown in. :-) This section might also be the most historically accurate, but it all depends on whether "The Travels of Marco Polo" is a firsthand account of Marco's trip to China.

Abd if thought this section was long, just wait until you start reading the next one...
