Help me choose a Halloween costume

My friends and I started talking about Halloween costumes last night, what we were going to wear to a friend's annual party and whatnot, and I was totally stuck on who/what to go as. Nothing can beat my Captain Hammer getup from last year as far as I'm concerned. :-) But costumes are kind of a given if you're going to a Halloween party, so I need

A few of my friends do play video games, so maybe one of them might recognize the costume. I just don't want a boring costume. Everyone else and their dog will be dressed as vampires, zombies, etc. and I want to be a little different.
