Dr. Manhattan towers over everything else in the room (Rorschach doesn't even come up to his knee). He is naked, standing facing a huge piece of machinery, one hand raised as gears come apart and float before him. It is from him that the blue light is coming, for he himself is blue. On his forehead, the symbol for a hydrogen atom.
He is slightly turned, eyes on the man who has just entered the room.

Rorschach has to tilt his head all the way back to see Dr. Manhattan's face, and he does so, despite the uncomfortable position.
