I really liked -That hasn’t been touched in a twenty years- and -Away from a spot they swore would never be left alone-
You know how sometimes you write or read something and there are just certain sentences you really adore without knowing exactly why? Those two touched me like that.
I also liked:
They had been teenagers
Small and childish
And Alive
and I liked it even more when I realised the contradiction between 'Alive' and 'Death' when I'd finished it! I love it when there're little connections like that in a poem :)
Lastly I loved the ending -Before Death-. I don't usually see you using such a clear, obvious ending to your poems. I really like the strong closure to this one!
All in all, damn good!
