How true and simply beautiful it all sounds!
Over here now we have the first tiny white flowers under the big cherry tree, and almond trees fully blossoming, and the birds singing their first courting songs already... Which make my blood stir in slow, lustful spirals... I've been picking some wild dandelion leaves and wild garlic for salads quite early already. And pruning time and sowing time are here: a lot of work, but you know what, I pray that everybody's work was so enjoyable as these gardening and food growing tasks are to me !

Also, time to start watching the sky for the first swallows soon...

I love gardening, too. I live in a very small apartment with two tiny bits of earth, and a number of containers. :-) Still, I enjoyed digging the soil up this weekend, and am beginning to think about what I would like to plan this year. My garlic chives have returned, which are very tasty. And we have meyer's lemons, which happily last a number of months on the tree.
