As many of you know, I received my Award of Arms at the Midrealm Bardic Madness on Saturday, November 21, 2009. I haven't blogged about it yet because I wanted to include the lovely scroll penned by Artemisia de Velterra and I need to bring it work to scan - but you can understand how I didn't want to just randomly carry it in the rain and such ( Read more... )

YAAAAAAYY!!!!!! :D {Goes back to read more than the first sentence...}

More yaaaay!!! :D and holding back of slight happy tears. Your mom is great. :)

You are officially an inspiration for me now, having been in the society for 10 years and only now getting your AoA. I was moping recently because I have been watching many of my well deserving friends getting surprised with AoAs and knowing that I am such a long way from mine (I don't do enough - or anything really, but darnit, I want a cookie too. {pout}) :) I'll keep you in mind and know that sometimes it just takes time to find the proper niche. :)

Amusingly, you just chose your name and got your AoA at roughly the same time. A friend just received her AoA, and she adopted her name in March. Another friend received a local sodality award under a new name this weekend, too. What is it with names and awards coinciding lately? {grin} I just think it's a neat coincidence. :)

Yaaaay!!! {happy dancing - and wondering if my unpaid LJ account can have moving gifs...}

Congratulations!

You should do a show where Arlecchino becomes a lord.

Thanks!

And His Highness Rutgur already requested we write a play about the Visigoth sack of Rome. My near-immediate suggestion was - to explain why the Empire was collapsing and the popular notion of the insane and foolish rulers - two words:

"Emperor Arlecchino"
