New Year's Eve and Stuff

I've had an eventful day for the last day of 2012 -- and it's not over yet, but so far, this has happened:

• Creepy Old Guy at the gym caught me off guard and enveloped me in a gross, sweaty hugs, and I have no idea why he thinks mingling sweat is okay, but it wasn't my fault that the 40 pound weight I was holding happened to slip out of my hand and

That is a very eventful way to end the year, for sure! I had to LOL re: creepy old guy; I might have dropped the weight in shock but not on purpose. You WIN for doing it ON PURPOSE. I have a huge startle, and so would have died the death from the counter, smashed all the test tubes, and probably dropped the tub of protein powder on the foot of obnoxious customer #3. So you're doing better than I would.

Don't be sorry for part 11 of LM. Ever. Even if you left Merlin where and with whom you did, and then made us wait for the next part. Boy, can you pick a cliffhanger!

SOB for the lost words! Hope the dog is OK, dinner turned out moderately edible, and that you make it to the new year intact.

I laud you for your persistance in the face of rejection, and am happy to know that we've enabled you to keep writing, because, well, I LOVE your writing. I'm happily looking forward to parts 12-15 of LM and anything else you happen to be able to write. I promise to conquer my lurker tendencies and comment. <3

Looks like your 2012 went out with a bang in an unwanted way. But I'm glad your 2012 overall was a very good one for you. Your Loaded March series has certainly made its mark on Merlin fandom. I promise to comment on your story (if you don't mind woefully late comments on the earlier parts) in 2013. I feel bad as I've been meaning to properly dig into the story, but it hasn't worked out. It'll happen in 2013. *is determined*

Good luck with your original fiction! I'm glad you'll still be participating in Merlin fandom. I'm thinking of doing Paperlegends again too...there's just something about writing epic long fic. We'll see...
