thought process? what thought process?

I have literally no idea why I wrote this instead of working on my sociology notes or starting my English coursework (except I know myself very well, and of course I did this instead, Jesus. Fic or work, come on!). I totally suck. And do you know, if writing had been a viable thing, this wasn't even the fic I should have been writing. SIGH. Proper ( Read more... )

fic, definitely not merlin!

I love this! I have been waiting for future Merlin or Arthur in past for ages and this is so wonderfully written. I love your wiser Arthur and the uncomfortableness of his 'Queen'. It was perfect and I've already read it twice I loved it so much! I don't suppose I could persuade you to write a follow up where future merlin visits can I?
Again Love It!

Hah, amazing! I had no idea it was an actual conceit people wanted to see; I'm just a sci-fi child, forcing myself into a fantasy fandom.

I'm so so glad you enjoyed this. Will have a think to see if a sequel could possibly make sense, though I'm not sure it would, unless it happened accidentally somehow. Hmmmmmmm.

Cheers very much for your lovely comment! :D

It may just be me :) I'm lucky as I'm quite happy in both fandoms. You don't seem like you're forcing yourself into fantasy at all. Do think about a sequel, equally if you have an idea you'd love to see from Merlin I'd be happy to give it a go :)
Cheers for the lovely fic!

Firstly, for some ridiculous reason I have only watched one episode of Merlin.
Secondly from that one episode I watched I immediately slashed Merlin and Arthur.
Thirdly I FREAKIN LOVE THIS FIC. I don't have a clue about what has happened in any of the episodes but I would happily read this in weekly installments.
Fourthly you should definately write Merlin.
Fifthly I FREAKIN LOVE YOU MISS LOZ.

CLAUSE 28 YEEEAAAAH.

LollllllllllMerlin. I think I feel about it a bit how I feel about Torchwood: it's of dubious quality, but fun and just SO INCREDIBLY GAY omg. Which episode have you seen?

Thank you, darling, I'm glad you liked it! I'd be very happy to find myself suddenly in charge of writing Merlin, though I'm not sure I could be trusted not to make up some kind of kissing spell as an excuse to shove Merlin and Arthur together like two dolls (with all the associated cackling and "mwah mwah mwah" noises).

Ilu2 miss piss ♥

Yeah, I should have gotten into it properly but somehow I kept managing to miss it. If it comes out on DVD I shall buy it when it goes cheap.

I saw the episode where the girl who was in eastenders made a clay monster model and put it in the towns water supply, it then made people go white and veiny and die.

I APPORVE OF YOUR IDEA, YOU'RE HIRED.

ALSO in other news: all of the episodes are on iPlayer, please waste a day watching them so I can talk to you about it lots on Tuesday? Pretty please? If nothing else, watch um "the poisoned chalice" or whatever it's called, I think it's the 4th one and anyway it's SUPER GAY. I MEAN IT.

I should go to bed now, I have to get up for work in like seven hours :((((

Oh wonderful. I loved this (but then, I do have a bit of a time-travel obsession, especially when it involves characters meeting their older/younger selves). Great to see future!Arthur after he's grown into his role, and the Merlin/Arthur hints were nicely done.

This was very different to anything else I've read in this fandom, which is definitely a Good Thing. *g*

Absolutely, yes - I'm exactly the same. It would just be So Amazingly Weird, I think!

Really glad you enjoyed it (especially the Merlin/Arthur, which I worried over to some extent, if only because, afgh, I wanted to make it clear without hitting people in the face with it) and thank you very much indeed for all yer kind words, missus.

Yay! Merlin/Arthur will rule the world!

(Which means: I like this very much and you are totally awesome for writing it)

I would read your original fiction. It would be awfully hypocritical of me not to - considering that I exhort people to read my own original fiction all the time.

This is wonderful! This is perfect! The time paradox is there. And the boys' feelings, OMG, their feelings... ♥

Heeeeeeeeeeee, thank you! When this thing first occurred to me (AKA "in the shower at 9:30 this morning"), they were going to be ~changing the past~, but then I remembered that I subscribe far more to the school of "you can't undo what's already been did, kids", so there you go. Really, really glad you liked it. :D
