Hello, everyone! Mad busy lately, revision and rehearsals and all sorts, but have been trying to write more regularly so I thought I'd bring you the fruits of my labour. It's not very good, but practice is practice, isn't it?

PS LOL, love how you always ask if I'm okay - am I some kind of worry?! Also, I'm fine thanks ye. <3 Mad day yesterday (technical rehearsals are the suck) but today I went shopping and bought a dress that I am IN LOVE WITH, I think it is genuinely just from the seventies and oh it wins so much. I'm going to wear it down the street and pretend that I am in [insert appropriate seventies show here - SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM]. Aaaaand I might be getting a job at the wee shop I got the dress from! I love when you use that icon, hee, makes me feel all GAYED UP. Also reminds me of you using the phrase "pussywhipped" which obviously does not feature enough in the world.

yeah, this rocks. Perfect characterisation, (including Sam's slight gayness) and when will Sam realise that he NEEDS Gene? Even Annie, his supposed female interest, knows that Sam needs Gene. I like your Sam and I really hope he doesn't do anything stupid. I'm REALLY scared about the show's finale. Oh well, that's what fic is for and yours is great.

Thanks very much indeed! I wrote this mainly because I was so worried about the show's finale and wanted to make myself feel better, so yaye that! 2.7 is absolute proof of how strong their relationship is now and, like you said, how much Sam needs Gene, but I'm terrified they'll neglect that a bit in 2.8. Also, "slight gayness" is a winning phrase. :D (And he is a sissy girly nancy French etc., isn't he?)

And the rest of it is very lovely as well. Got nothing but awe for fic writers who can do the literary equivalent of smooshing Sam&Gene together and giggling, while still keeping them perfectly in character.
