Could someone please tell me how to post the "mood smilies",and an avatar/icon...and change the "comment this" into other words like "six different ways" or whatever...PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

you see the "manage" button at the blue tasklist of this site? CLICK IT :) to change yr icon, click the "icon" button below - and now you choose any picture (gif or jpg as much as i know) that you want. thats it :) you can change the look of yr LJ at www.livejournal.com/modify.bml you can update yr journal www.livejournal.com/update.bml and then its important that you click "for more options" !!!(thats below the textwindow) there are serveral settings, like "jorunal to post in" - thats the place where you can choose in which community you want to post (like obsolete to you :))
