Aww! Loved it!

I'm not an Eliot/Sophie shipper, but I love their relationship on the show, and this was just perfect!

I also loved that you pointed out the differences between Nate and Sophie in charge, that she may not have his "morals," but she definitely has (or seems to have) a deeper concern for the wellbeing of the team. I'm sure Nate does, too, but he hides it well. Very, very, very well. *g*

And, hey, now we know why Eliot had new glasses in the S3 opener. ;)

:) As I'm sure you've worked out I'm a perpetual Nate/Sophie/Eliot shipper, but the chemistry died a little this season, so I'm working on the behind-the-scenes of why that separation happened. Starting here...

Nate has been *very* scary this season. Mob-boss scary. And I see Sophie as spending as much time developing everyone's skills as leading any con. While they might have looked to her for leadership, I think she'd probably share the power more than Nate. (ie, listening to Eliot when he says 'it's a walk away', before someone gets shot...)

And yes, on my list of things to cover was Eliot's glasses. :D *ticks off* Though I still prefer my other theory more...

The first time I noticed the Eliot-Sophie relationship was in "Two Horse," when they were talking about Aimee. It was completely different from his relationships with P&H (where he's very much one of "the kids"), and with Nate, which is a much more professional one of the respect of equals. But with Sophie, it was grownup *and* intimate (or as intimate as these characters get ( ... )

No, that's awesome. I love this kind of character discussion :D HEHE.

You're really not the only one who likes Nate which ever way he comes (whilst simultaneously hissing at him whenever he does anything REALLY FREAKING NASTY - as he has been prone to recently).

There's so much material for a *loss* of a S/E/N pairing this season (and in the Sophie-less parts of the previous) - there's just so much tension. :D Hopefully I can write some of it. :D
