Lovely review! I haven't seen "Daniel Deronda" in years, but it would be nice to watch again now that I know the actors from so many other things. I also have the book to read, but there are a lot of other things on my "to read" and "to watch" lists. I do miss the heyday of BBC period dramas, though. (The late '90s and throughout the 2000s had some great series!)
