I told my husband about 'slash' a fe months ago. He doesn't get into any fandoms, so wasn't aware of the word, or the fact that people look for it in shows.
Anyway, he made a comment that those 'slashers' are enjoying this episode.
If you're not into fanfic, you forget these terms aren't part of everyone's lexicon. Even though I write House/Wilson fic, I don't tend to read it. *shrugs*
