Why should I explain it to you when you have lived here, the same as I? Even the sounds of the bells on the wind know the stories that have been told about the cape. It is difficult for me to believe that you have never heard a single one of these stories.

Well, it was either that or you'd gone insane, but I didn't think that very likely. And it's not generally polite to ask people whether or not they've gone off the deep end, anyway.

Yes. My role was that of a customer taking part in a tea ceremony... and he is trying to coax the lady serving him into revealing things that she doesn't wish to disclose.
