Fandom is definitely an escape for me. I avoid fandom drama because this is something I do to help de-stress.

I will say, I have made some friends though via fandom and we now communicate and take interest in one another's personal lives. Kind of nice to have some friends from all over, even if I have not met them.

Re: TDF cancellation. I think I might write a letter. Not something I think I have done in years, but I am really disappointed over it. I am sure I will continue to watch SciFi for Battlestar Galactica, but I really wish TDF was going to continue.

What does it actually do?This is a really excellent question. Seems like they are *supposed* to be the good guys, but perhaps some of their methods are questionable. I wonder how people end up as a member of the Council, how widespread it is, what is the ultimate hierarchy (is Ancient Mai sort of the local bigwig, or is she the head of it all). How are wardens chosen? Yeah, I hadn't thought much on it, but the High Council is really a very vague entity ( ... )
