As for obscure languages and nationalism (well, it's technically a con-lang, but what they hey), when Shakespeare's Hamlet was translated into Klingon, it had to be published as "Shakespeare's Hamlet, Restored to the Original Klingon". I have a copy, but I have yet to learn enough Klingon to read it.
