Yeah, a few people were encouraging me to use craigslist to find an apartment. And, I'd say that's a good idea, but I'd suggest trying to go out and see it when you sign the lease... just so you have at least a little idea of what the place looks like before it's already being paid for.
Eep stress. If you have any free time at all while you're here, we should try to have lunch or something. Only if it would be nice and not making your life crazier, of course.
Actually, the only non-scheduled-y day I have in NY is in fact tomorrow, so I don't know if it's too late to plan something. I should be getting into the city around 10:30 and I have to meet my host person sometime in there, and I have no idea what your schedule is like...so basically, I'll e-mail you my cell phone number and you can give me a call if you do in fact have time to meet up. My plane leaves at freaking 7:45am, so I'll be up and stuff.
Sorry I don't have more free time; I'd love to see you if the stupid schools weren't eating my life.
Meh, sadly, Wednesday is my craziest day of the week, so it doesn't look likely. You are, of course, welcome to come to SLC by train for lunch but I wouldn't really recommend it unless you are just that ready to see a friendly face. ^_~

And HOW does a person find an apartment in another city while living eight states away???
Craigslist n' shit, I'd say. And calling everywhere. But signing a lease? Maybe fax it or something?
