That breakthrough I was hoping for finally happened this weekend and the very overdue second chapter of From Now On is up. Those of you that witness my vague hemming and hawing over this story now can probably see why it worried me so much. Now that that roadblock is out of the way and the world hasn't exploded (yet) I'm hopin I'll be able to write ( Read more... )

I see why you were so worried before. I was shocked to see where you are going with this fic, but I look forward to it to. In my fic, I had Filia and Xellos have a child (Though it wasn't all normal circumstances) and I was worried about it too. for the most part my readers (Who reviewed anyway) were ok with it. So if it's coming from you, I bet it will be very well done.

Hopefully you don't get any bad reviews for taking a step further in your story, (If that is what your worried about) cuz if you do I could always beat people up for ya. *Smacks fist in to palm*

I hope it'll go well, I want to make sure I get things as accurate as possible under the circumstances.

Yeah... I hope so too. I'm less worried about random folks having a problem with it as people I know and respect, but I'm trying to do this as best I can.

Hogfather IS amazing. The TV movie of it is actually pretty good too if you want to check it out.

Oh, Vetinari is *so* awesome in Jingo. I mean, he's always awesome, but in that one you get to see him in action.

Really enjoying the story so far. I think this part might be my favorite: 'She absolutely had to tell him eventually. If she put it off forever she'd be nothing but a coward, lying with her silence day by day for fear of losing what she had.

If only because I'm imagining Filina thinking that Xellos won't notice the tow-headed squinty-eyed child running around.

Also, wondering if Filia's having an egg, or some sort of live birth. And only one? Oh, and does she have nest situation? Are the others going to be a part of this, because them freaking out and having to help with the birth would be awesome.

"Boil sheets! Get me clean sheets! Oh my god!"

...Well, maybe he won't be as observant as usual!

I'll be getting more in depth on the specifics of he pregnancy in the next chapter. The birth should be... interesting, but unfortunately Lina and co. won't be there.
