Read Aloud + Graphics!

I may be 21, but that doesn't mean I don't love to be read aloud to. I don't think that's all that unusual in this day and age, what with audio-books and all, but it's also fun to be read aloud to be someone you know.

I also love reading aloud. It's a lot of fun to get to share a book you really enjoy with people. My sister and I used to read to

From the time I first heard my voice on a tape recorder, I've been horrified -- it sounds nothing like what I hear when I'm speaking. (And what I hear is like Morgan Freeman compared to Chris Rock.) Still, others seem to think I'm a good dramatic reader (they must not know what they're missing).

I try to tell myself it's just that most people don't like the sound of their voice recorded and that I don't really sound whiney all the time... but there's always that fear!

I used to love .hack//sign. I never made it all the way through the games though.

It might just be that I've only tried with the super low-quality microphone built into my laptop. But it might just be a universal thing.

...Or maybe my voice really *does* sound like that. That's a scary thought.
