You can do it with driving! Just think of the nice car you'll have all to yourself when you're done!

What's the occasion for trying wine? Personally I dislike it. I also really hate champagne - I'd pick sparkling apple cider over it any time. :( I thought I would like red wine because it's supposed to go so well with savory stuff (and it's possible I just tried bad wine), but I thought it tasted ucky, not at all like how I imagined it would.

Just wanted to try it, really. I thought champagne was okay, but I have to admit I like sparkling cider/grape juice better.

Yeah, it's a lot better without mom there. Or anyone really. I don't really get nervous driving by myself anymore (only when I'm not familiar with wherever I'm going), but even having Matt in the car makes me nervous still and he's obviously not being as... overall AWFUL as mom tends to be.

I always kinda wanted to be a fancy-schmancy wine person who could identify a ton of different types of wine and is super snobby about it, but, meh. I guess that ain't me. Hopefully you like(d) it better than I did!

Yeah, I'm sure that makes it less nerve-wracking. I've just got to get through this part... easier said than done.

I actually really hated it X_x it tasted like vinegar to me. It might just be that I didn't like the wine I tried, so I'm thinking about seeing if there are any wine tastings in the area so I can try different kinds. Also, I've wanted to try Sangria for awhile now.

Mmm wine. For Wine, it's a hit or miss for me. Sometimes it can be really yummy and sometimes it can taste like nail polish. (Or what I image nail polish to taste like) If you like the wine you tried, let me know what kind it is so I can try it out as well :-) Usually I'm partial to white, blackberry, and plum wines.

I know how you feel. I spend too much time on Tumblr, and now I don't have time for anything else. :( But I still enjoy your tweets. `3`

Yeah, my mom was mine too lol. She would freak out and get in my head and freak me out. I began to get paranoid about driving and felt like I would never be a safe driver. Once I finally got over that and believed in myself, I realized I was a fine drive the whole time, and I just 'thought' I was a bad driver.

A good first wine to try would be a White Moscato. Naked Grapes makes a really good one. If you like sweet more. :)

Yeah... it's like, I'll make a minor mistake and then she'll react to it in a confusing way and make it worse X_x And it just doesn't feel like she's always able to communicate what she wants me to do. But I really have no one else to turn to for this.
